The liquid is colorless, transparent, sterile.

Pharmacological properties

Gonadorelin acetate is a synthetic analogue of the polypeptide gonadotropin-releasing hormone of the hypothalamus, which causes increased secretion of gonadotropins by the pituitary gland, in particular follicle-stimulating hormone (FSH) and to a greater extent luteinizing hormone.

After injection, it is rapidly absorbed and reaches its maximum plasma concentration in 15-30 minutes. The half-life is 8-20 minutes. It is metabolized in blood plasma, kidneys and liver, excreted mainly in the urine in the form of peptide fragments and amino acids.

Indication

Regulation of reproductive functions in farm and domestic animals .

Contraindication

Do not use in animals with hypersensitivity to the active substance of the drug, during pregnancy, acute illness, as well as depleted animals and animals that have not reached sexual maturity.

Do not use together with other hormonal drugs.

Concomitant use of the chorionic gonadotropic hormone HCG (HCG) can lead to ovarian hyperreaction.

Storage conditions

In a dry, dark place, out of reach of children at a temperature of +2 to +20 ° C.

After opening the vial, store the drug in the refrigerator and use within 28 days.

Expiration date

2 years.

Method of application and dosage

The drug is used in the following doses per animal:

• cattle (intramuscularly):
  • persistence of the follicle, delayed ovulation – 2 ml, 2 hours before artificial insemination and 2 hours after it;
  • ovulation synchronization – 1 ml, after hunting synchronization;
  • stimulation of ovarian function in the postpartum period – 1 ml, on the 12th day after calving;
  • treatment of ovarian (follicular) ovarian cysts – 2-3 ml;
  • estral synchronization of insemination of cows in combination with cloprostenol according to the scheme:
    1) injection of Gonalin – 2 ml;
    2) injection of Broestrofan (0.5 mg of cloprostenol) – 2 ml, on the 7th day after injection of Gonalin;
    3) injection of Gonalin – 2 ml, 48 hours after administration of cloprostenol.
    Insemination of cows is carried out between 8 and 24 hours after the second injection of Gonalin, regardless of the presence of visible signs of heat.
• pigs (intramuscularly or subcutaneously): synchronization of ovulation, increased fertility – 0.5-1 ml (sows), 1-1.5 ml (repair pigs);
• mares (intramuscularly): absence of heat, acyclicity of heat, ovulation stimulation – 2 ml;
• bitches (intramuscularly): ovulation stimulation – 0.5-1 ml, once.

Reservation

Do not mix with other pharmacological agents in one syringe.

Personnel in contact with the product must follow the rules of hygiene and safety adopted when working with veterinary drugs.

Meat and milk of animals that have been injected with the drug, people can eat without restrictions.
