DESCRIPTION
Limoxin-25 is a spray with pronounced antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. Oxytetracycline belongs to the tetracycline antibiotics and acts bacteriostatically on many gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms, including: Bordetella, Campylobacter, Chlamydia, E. coli, Haemophilus, Mycoplasma, Pasteurella, Rickettsia, Salmonella, Stacococcus, Streptococcus spp. The action of oxytetracycline is based on the inhibition of protein synthesis by a bacterial cell.
Gentian violet is a dye that has, in addition to antifungal properties, activity against Staphylococcus spp.
COMPOSITION
Contains in 1 ml:
Oxytetracycline hydrochloride – 25 mg;
Gentian violet – 5 mg.
INDICATIONS AND METHOD OF APPLICATION
Apply topically to all types of animals for the treatment of wounds, infectious lesions of the skin, nipples, paws, hooves caused by microorganisms sensitive to the combination of oxytetracycline with gentian violet.
Including: surgical and traumatic wounds, abrasions, scratches, skin and hoof lesions in necrobacillosis.
– For sheep and goats, the spray is used for wound skin lesions during shearing, hoof rot, necrobacteriosis, interdigital dermatitis, as well as for phlegmon, ulcers, open abscesses, of various localization.
– The drug is prescribed for pigs for exudative epidermitis, cannibalism injuries, interdigital necrosis, eczema, bites, abrasions, ulcers and superficial wounds of various etiology and localization.
– For dogs, the drug is used for interdigital dermatitis, pyoderma, eczema, scratching, bites, abrasions, ulcers and superficial wounds of various etiology and localization.
DOSAGE
Spray twice a day from a distance of 15-20 cm to the affected area. Before using the drug, dirt, necrotic tissues, pus and wound exudate should be removed from the treated surface, then the drug should be sprayed for 1-2 seconds.
The duration of treatment depends on the severity and speed of healing, but should not exceed 10 days.
When treating lesions in the head area, avoid getting the drug into the eyes.
CONTRAINDICATIONS
Do not use in animals hypersensitive to oxytetracycline.
Do not administer to animals with hepatic and renal insufficiency.
Do not use in conjunction with penicillins, cephalosporins, quinolones and cycloserines.

Tylosin (Tylan powder) 500mg for chickens ● poultry ● pigs ● dogs
Tylosin is an antibiotic typically used to treat bacterial infections in farm animals, but veterinarians often use it to treat certain types of chronic diarrhea in cats and dogs. The powder form is not FDA approved for use in companion animals, but it is common practice for veterinarians to prescribe this medication. The drug is also given as an injectable type.
It is prescribed for the prevention and treatment of respiratory mycoplasmosis of birds, infectious sinusitis of turkeys, as well as the treatment of dysentery and gastroenterocolitis of bacterial etiology of pigs, bronchopneumonia of calves caused by pathogens sensitive to tylosin. To combat necrobacteriosis in cattle and small ruminants.
OXYTET 96% powder for cattle, pigs, poultry 20 g (0.044 lbs)
Oxytetracycline (Terramycin) powder
In veterinary medicine, oxytetracycline is used in the form of a base, hydrochloride, and dihydrate. Oxytetracycline base is an amorphous light yellow substance, poorly soluble in water. Oxytetracycline hydrochloride and dihydrate are crystalline substances of yellow color, odorless, bitter taste, readily soluble in water.
Pharmacological properties
Oxytetracycline is a tetracycline antibiotic produced by Streptomyces rimosus. Possesses a wide spectrum of antibacterial action, is active against many gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms, incl. Escherichia, Salmonella, Staphylococcus, Streptococcus, Rickettsia, and some types of Mycoplasma; does not act on Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Proteus, most fungi, and small viruses. The mechanism of the antibacterial action of oxytetracycline is based on the suppression of protein synthesis of the microbial cell (blockade of ribosome function) and blockade of RNA synthesis.
Application
Treatment of cattle, pigs, and poultry for respiratory and alimentary canal diseases caused by microorganisms sensitive to oxytetracycline.

Nifulin plus – comprehensive drug broad-spectrum bactericidal and bacteriostatic action.
Oxytetracycline hydrochloride – bacteriostatic antibiotic mechanism of action of which is to initiate protein synthesis during its interaction with ribosomes, as well as to reduce the permeability of the cytoplasmic membrane of sensitive microorganisms. The drug has a broad spectrum of activity against gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms, such as: Streptococcus spp., Clostridium spp., Corynebacterium spp., Brucella spp., Haemophilus spp., E. coli, Pasteurella spp., Klebsiella spp., Erysipelothrix spp., Fusobacterium spp., Salmonella spp., and protozoa (Protozoa), mycoplasma (Mycoplasma spp.), rickettsiae (Rickettsia spp.) and chlamydia (Chlamydia).
Neomycin sulfate – aminoglycoside antibiotic which bactericidal effect on aerobic bacteria effective against gram-positive and some gram-negative bacteria (E. coli, Salmonella spp., Klebsiella spp., Proteus spp., Shigella, Enterobacteriae, Staphylococcus spp.) and cocci. Neomycin sulfate exhibits an antimicrobial effect by inhibition of protein synthesis in ribosomes.
