Baytril, which is a derivative of quinolone carboxylic acid, is an anti-infective chemotherapeutic medicine with specially high bactericidial effect. Enrofloxacin, inhibits the bacterial gyrase enzyme which has an improtant role in DNA replication. The inhibition of this enzyme, blocks certain stages of bacterial synthesis, causing functional disorders leading to death of the bacteria. This gives Baytril a different mode of action in comparison with other antibiotics. Enrofloxacin has a broad-spectrum anti-bacterial efficacy, including Mycoplasmas, gram negative and gram positive bacteria as well as anaerobic patogenic bacteria.

Pharmacological properties
The active ingredient of the drug is toltrazuril, which is a triazintrione derivative. Toltrazuril causes changes in the complex mechanism of development of coccidia, affects the endoplasmic reticular tissue. The Golgi complex causes pathologies in the perinuclear space of the cell, causes disturbances in the process of nuclear division. It also leads to a reduction in the parasite's respiratory chain enzymes.
The drug has a wide range of anti-coccidial and antiprotozoal activity. Toltrazuril is very effective against Eimeria species - E.acervulina, E.burnetti, E.maxima, E.mitis, E.necatrix and E.tenella in broilers and replacement poultry and E.adenoides, E.meleagridis, E.meleagrimitis in turkeys ...
Indications for use
Prevention and treatment of poultry eimeriosis (broilers, replacement poultry, turkeys) with invasive diseases caused by: E. acervulina, E. brunetti, E. maxima, E. necatrix, E. tenella, E. Mitis; E. adenoids, E. meleagridis, E. meleagrimitis.

- adults and immature larvae (intraluminal larvae of the fourth stage) of small strongylids or cyatostom, including strains resistant to benzimidazoles: Coronocyclus, Cyathostomum, Cylicocyclus, Cylicodontophorus, Cylicostephanus, Parapoteriostomom.
- adult hairy individuals: Trichostrongylus axei.
- adults and immature larvae (larvae of the fourth stage) pinworms: Oxyuris equi.

Oxytetracycline - 100 mg (Liquamycin analog)
Oxytetracycline hydrochloride belongs to the group of tetracycline antibiotics. It is obtained from the culture of the fungus Streptomyces rimosus. Easily penetrates the cell membrane. Acting on the ribosomes of bacteria, it disrupts the protein synthesis of the microbial cell in most gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, including streptococci, staphylococci, corynebacteria, clostridia, erysipelotrix, Pasteurella, salmonella, pseudomonas, actinobacteria, Escherichia riche, spicherichia. When administered intramuscularly, oxytetracycline is rapidly absorbed from the injection site and reaches maximum tissue concentrations approximately 30-50 minutes after administration. The therapeutic level of the antibiotic remains in the body for 24 hours. It is excreted from the body mainly with urine and bile secretion, in lactating animals - with milk.
