Description

Antifungal agent for external use. Ointment for external use three-phase, suspension-emulsion type, from almost white to white with a light yellow tinge, oily consistency, with a characteristic odor, with small fat grains.

100 ml of the drug contains:

• clotrimazole – 0.1 g
• salicylic acid – 0.7 g
• filler – up to 10 ml.

Pharmacological properties

The active substance of the drug clotrimazole is active against pathogenic dermatophytes, yeasts, the causative agent of herpes zoster, gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Well absorbed from the surface of the skin, accumulates in the epidermis of the skin.

Application

Mycosept is used in cats and dogs for the treatment of dermatitis of allergic and traumatic origin caused by pathogenic dermatophytes, yeasts, pathogens of herpes zoster, gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, sensitive to the components of the drug.

Dosage

The drug is used externally. The affected area of ​​skin is moistened with the antifungal agent Mycosept with a cotton gauze swab 1-2 times a day until complete recovery (7-14 days).

Precautions for use

Do not allow licking of the drug. Avoid contact with eyes. When working with the drug should follow the generally accepted rules of work with animal protection products. It is forbidden to smoke, drink or eat. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap after handling.
