Description

The liquid is light yellow, homogeneous, odorless and tasteless.

Pharmacological properties

A broad-spectrum anthelmintic.

Oxyclosanide is a synthetic compound from the group of salicylanilides. Inhibits and stops the process of oxidative phosphorylation in the body of trematodes, which alters the energy metabolism of parasites and causes their death.

Pyrantel pamoate is a synthetic compound from the pyrimidine group. Causes depolarized neuromuscular blockade (paralysis) of parasites, as a result they are excreted from the intestine by peristalsis. Effective against larvae and adult nematodes that parasitize the gastrointestinal tract – Neoascaris vitulorum, Bunostomum trigonocephalum, Trichostrongylus columbriformis, T. axei, Trichuris skrjabini, T. ovis, Chabertia ovina and others.

Method of application and dosage

Therapeutic and prophylactic deworming is carried out at the beginning of the stall period. The drug is given once, with drinking water in the following doses per 10 kg of body weight:

• cattle – 1 ml;
• sheep, goats – 0.75 ml.

Reservation

At group deworming carefully to check up accuracy of dosing.

After the last application of the drug, slaughter of animals for meat is allowed in 14 days, people can eat milk in a day.

Indication

Treatment and prevention of cattle, sheep, goats with helminthiasis caused by trematodes and nematodes sensitive to the active substances of the drug.

Contraindication

Do not prescribe to cows in the first month after insemination, ewes during mating and the first month after hatching from flocks, exhausted animals.
