Compound

Xeroform has astringent, drying properties, constricts blood vessels, reduces exudation, reduces sensitivity and reduces inflammation.Β Strong antiseptic.
Streptocid refers to sulfanilamide compounds.Β It is characterized by a wide spectrum of antimicrobial activity against gram-positive (Β Streptococcus spp., Clostridium spp., Corynebacterium spp.Β , and others) and gram-negative microorganisms (Β Escherichia coli, Salmonella spp., Klebsiella spp., Proteus spp., Pasteurella spp., Bordetella sppΒ .). and others), but is almost inactive against staphylococci.Β Streptocide acts bacteriostatically, preventing the use of para-aminobenzoic acid by microorganism for the synthesis of dihydrofolic acid, which is involved in the synthesis of pyrimidine bases of DNA and RNA of the microbial cell.
Application
Treatment of cattle, horses, sheep, goats, pigs, dogs and cats with skin diseases (eczema, dermatitis, ulcers) caused by microorganisms sensitive to streptocide and xeroform.Β For the treatment of post-castration wounds and the prevention of post-castration complications.
Dosage
Outwardly.Β If necessary, the damaged area of ββthe skin is cleaned and powdered with the preparation and 2-3 cm around it.Β Damaged areas are treated 1-2 times a day until healing.
