Azithromycin 10% / 100 mg/ml Solution for injection (Azatril Actavis analog), 100 ml
Description: Transparent yellow or yellowish liquid.
Composition: 1.0 ml of the preparation contains 100.0 mg azithromycin and excipients.
Indications for use: Respiratory tract infections: tonsillitis, sinusitis, otitis media, bronchitis; infections of the skin and soft tissues – erysipelas, impetigo (superficial pustular skin lesions with the formation of purulent crusts), secondarily infected dermatoses (skin diseases); urinary tract infections.
Pharmacological action: Broad-spectrum antibiotic. It has not only high antimicrobial activity but also anti-inflammatory and immunomodulatory effects, as well as low toxicity. Gram-positive cocci are sensitive to Azithromycin: Streptococcus pneumoniae, St. pyogenes, St. agalactiae, streptococci of groups CF and G, Staphylococcus aureus, St. viridans; gram-negative bacteria: Haemophilus influenzae, Moraxella catarrhalis, Bordetella pertussis, B. parapertussis, Legionella pneumophila, H. decree, Campylobacter jejuni, Neisseria gonorrhoeae, and Gardnerella vaginalis; some anaerobic microorganisms: Bacteroides bivius, Clostridium perfringens, Peptostreptococcus spp; See also Chlamydia trachomatis, Mycoplasma pneumonia, Ureaplasma urealyticum, Treponema pallidum, Borrelia Burgdorfer.
Azithromycin penetrates well into the respiratory tract, organs, and tissues of the urogenital tract, into the skin and soft tissues. It remains in bactericidal concentrations in the focus of inflammation for 5-7 days.
Dosage and administration: Azithromycin 10% is used once every 72-96 hours intramuscularly at a dose of 1 ml per 20 kg of body weight (5 mg/kg according to the active ingredient) in cattle, horses, pigs, sheep, and goats. Dogs and cats in the treatment of infections of mixed etiology in a dose of 1 ml per 10 kg of body weight (10 mg/kg for the active substance).

Contraindications: Increased susceptibility to macrolide antibiotics.
