Butomidor is a highly effective and safe pain reliever for horses, cats and dogs. ( Torbutrol, Dolorex, TORBUGESIC analog)
The tool is created on the basis of Butarfanol tartrate (1ml 10mg). BUTOMIDOR is a clear, colorless solution.

Pharmacological properties:
It has strong analgesic properties, and also has a sedative, hypotensive, antihistamine and adrenolytic effect.
Dosage and Application:
Long-term and strong pain relief during surgical operations, therapeutic and diagnostic procedures (castration, wound treatment, surgical biopsy, laparotomy, removal of orthopedic implants, vaginoplasty, premature birth, ophthalmic procedures and instrumental examination of the upper respiratory tract).
Premedication before general anesthesia (compatible with inhalants, other sedatives and analgesics).
It is used as an analgesic for severe pre- or postoperative and post-traumatic pain, as well as a cough suppressant in dogs and anorexia drug in cats.
It has an antiemetic effect.
Doses of administration for monotherapy:
Dogs – i / v, i / m, s / c 0.3 ml / 10 kg of weight;
Cats – i / v 0.01 ml per 1 kg of weight, s / c 0.04 ml per 1 kg of weight.
In order to enhance the desired effect, combined use with alpha-2-agonists (medetomidine, detomidine) is practiced.
Analgesia in combination with the sedative effect of the domitor:
Dogs – 0.1 ml of BUTOMIDOR / 10 kg of animal weight intravenously, intramuscularly, then 0.10 ml of domitor / 10 kg of animal weight intravenously, intramuscularly;
Cats – 0.04 ml of BUTOMIDOR / kg of animal weight subcutaneously, intravenously, 0.05 ml of domitor / kg of animal weight, intramuscularly, subcutaneously.
Analgesia in combination with sedation of a couch potato
(for horses).
Total dose: 0.1 ml of couch potatoes / 100 kg of animal weight intravenously. Then 0.25 ml of BUTOMIDOR / 100 kg of animal weight intravenously.
Average duration of pain relief:
in horses (0.1 mg / kg) – 81 ± 20 minutes (with persisting analgesic activity at a plasma concentration of the drug from 20 to 30 ng / ml);
in dogs – about an hour;
in cats – 350 ± 10 minutes.
Contraindications:
It is not recommended to use it for animals with heart failure, with craniocerebral trauma, functional disorders in the liver and kidneys, with constipation and during lactation.

Available in 10 ml vials.

3 years subject to the rules of storage and transportation (dry, dark place, temperature from 15 to 25 ° C) / 28 days from the moment the bottle is opened.

Novocaine Solution for injection
For a short novocaine blockade of nerves, the udder (according to Logvin) in the supraveolar space
the affected quarter is injected with 150-200 ml of a 0.5% solution of novocaine.
For blockade of the external sacral nerve (according to Bashkirov) in loose fiber between the large and small
80-100 ml of 0.5% novocaine solution are injected with the lumbar muscles of the corresponding side.
For paranephral blockade (according to Vishnevsky), the drug is injected into the perinephric tissue.
Doses and methods of administration of the drug depend on the purpose of use (possible infiltration of the solution into
tissue, to the place of passage of the nerve, intravenously or intraarterially). It is also possible to use
drug as a solvent for dry forms of antibiotics.
