Descartivet for eyes and ears, 10 ml – universal ear and eye drops for dogs and cats. Designed for the treatment and prevention of diseases of the eyes, ears in dogs and cats, including conjunctivitis, keratitis, blepharitis, allergic and infectious inflammation of the ear canal. Suspension of white color with a weak, specific odor.

Composition:

1 ml of the drug contains:

• neomycin sulfate – 2.3-2.7 mg,
• hydrocortisone acetate – 0.9-1.1 mg,
• decamethoxine – 0.6-0.7 mg,
• distilled water – up to 1 ml.

Pharmacological properties:

The drug has antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antiexudative and antipruritic effects. Antibiotics that are part of the drug have a bacteriostatic effect, are active against a wide range of gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms.

Doses and method of administration

For the prevention of eye diseases, during the period of possible exacerbations, a daily one-time treatment of the eyes is carried out with a sterile cotton-gauze swab moistened with the drug. For therapeutic purposes, a sterile cotton-gauze swab is moistened with the preparation and hygienic treatment of the eyes is carried out, removing crusts and exudate. Then 2-3 drops are dripped into each eye. The procedure is repeated 4-5 times a day for 7-10 days. When treating inflammation of the ear canal, clean the external auditory canal, inject a few drops of the drug and distribute the drug evenly over the ear canal with light massage movements.
