Description:
Opaque, colorless solution.
Composition:
1 ml of the drug contains active ingredients:
gentamicin sulfate – 2 mg,
triamcinolone acetonide – 0.5 mg,
salicylic acid – 5.0 mg,
carbetopendecin bromide – 0.125 mg.
Excipients: ethanol 96, distilled water.

Gentamicin is an aminoglycoside antibiotic that acts bactericidal on some gram-positive and most gram-negative bacteria (E. coli, Salmonella spp., Shigella spp., Enterobaster aerogenes, Klebsiella spp., Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Proteus spp., Actinobacillus jeunus , Mycoplasma spp.).
Triamcinolone acetonide is a semi-synthetic corticosteroid that has long-term anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, immunosuppressive and antiproliferative effects.
Salicylic acid has a moderate antiseptic and keratolytic effect, and a slightly irritating effect.
Carbetopendecine bromide actively acts on gram-positive and some gram-negative bacteria, has an antifungal effect.
The drug is applied topically, it acts on the surface of tissues without any residual effect. After application, the local effect of the drug lasts a maximum of 12 hours.
Application:
Treatment of dogs and cats with otitis media and dermatitis of the external auditory canal caused by E. coli, Salmonella spp., Shigella spp., Enterobakter aerogenes, Klebsiella spp., Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Proteus spp., Actinobacillus spp., Campylobakter fetus subs. jejuni, Mycoplasma spp., sensitive to gentamicin.
Dosage:
It is recommended to thoroughly clean the ear canal before use. The drug is instilled into the auditory canal, at the beginning of treatment in the amount of 4-5 drops 3-4 times a day, and after 3 days – 2-3 times a day. Immediately after application, it is recommended to carry out a light massage around the ear in order to better penetrate the drug into the tissues. The course of treatment is 5-7 days, but not more than 12 days (3 days after the clinical symptoms of the disease disappear).
Contraindications:
Do not use the drug for animals sensitive to the components of the drug, as well as with a ruptured tympanic membrane.
