Description:
Transparent, slightly viscous liquid from colorless to light yellow.
Composition:
1 ml of the drug contains the active ingredient:
chloramphenicol – 50 mg.
Excipients: dimethyl sulfoxide, benzyl alcohol, propylene glycol.
Pharmacological properties:
Chloramphenicol is an antibiotic with a broad spectrum of antimicrobial activity, it is active against most gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms, such as: Staphylococcus aureus Streptococcus pyogenes Shigella spp., Brucella spp., Pasteurella tularensis Escherichia coli Proteusella spp. Erysipelothrix rhusiopathiae as well as rickettsia (Rickettsia spp.), Mycoplasma (Mycoplasma spp.), Chlamydia (Chlamydia spp.). The action of chloramphenicol is linked to the 50S ribosomal subunit, which leads to inhibition of bacterial protein synthesis.
Application:
Treatment of dogs, cats and decorative rodents in acute and chronic ear diseases (otitis media, eczema and dermatitis of the auricle) caused by microorganisms sensitive to chloramphenicol.
Dosage:
Bury 3-5 drops for animals weighing up to 10 kg, more than 10 kg for 7-8 drops of the drug 2 times a day into a sore ear, which is pre-cleaned of dirt, crusts, exudate. It is recommended to instill the drug in both ears (even in cases of inflammation of only one). The course of treatment is 3-10 days.
Contraindications:
Increased individual sensitivity to chloramphenicol.
Caveats:
The drug is incompatible with antibiotics from the quinolone group, as well as with ristomycin, penicillin. Inhibits the antimicrobial effect of ß-lactam antibiotics.

Bottles made of glass, closed with a rubber stopper for an aluminum rim, 10 ml each, enclosed in a box with an insert card and a dropper cap.
Storage:
