Cipronorm drops eye/ear suspension, 10 ml

Ingredients

1 ml contains active ingredients:

ciprofloxacin (in the form of ciprofloxacin hydrochloride) – 5 mg;

dexamethasone (in form of dexamethasone sodium phosphate) – 1 mg.

Excipients: sodium hydroxide, lactic acid, benzalhorsesum chloride, Trilon B, sodium chloride, water for other injections.

Cipronorm is a combined drug with pronounced antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties due to the action of ciprofloxacin and dexamethasone.

Treatment for dogs and cats:

• with infectious and inflammatory diseases of the eyes and ears caused by microorganisms sensitive to ciprofloxacin;
• with allergic processes of the anterior part of the eye, complicated by a bacterial infection;
• for the prevention and treatment of inflammation of the eyes and ears in the postoperative period.

Dosage

The drug is instilled into the conjunctival sac or ear canal 1-2 drops 2-3 times a day.

The duration of treatment is usually 5-7 days. If necessary, the duration of therapy can be extended up to 2 weeks.

In the presence of abundant purulent discharge, exudate, scabs, hygienic treatment of the eyes / external auditory canal is preliminarily carried out: 3-4 drops of the drug are instilled and the exudate is removed with gauze tampons (sterile tampons are used for the eyes). Then 1-2 drops of the drug are instilled.

Contraindications

Increased individual sensitivity to the components of the drug.

Use caution in pregnant animals.

The drug should be at room temperature when used.

Shake well before use.

Storage:

Store in a dark place, out of the reach of children, at a temperature of 5 ° to 25 ° C.

Shelf life is 2 years. After opening the bottle – 28 days, provided it is stored in a dark place at a temperature of 5 ° to 25 ° C.
