Posatex Ear Drops for Dogs is for the treatment of acute otitis externa in dogs.

Composition
Orbifloxacin 8.5 mg / ml

Mometasone furoate (as monohydrate) 0.9 mg / ml

Posaconazole 0.9 mg / ml

Application
For the treatment of acute otitis externa and exacerbations of recurrent otitis externa caused by Orbifloxacin, susceptible bacteria and fungi to posaconazole, in particular Malassezia pachydermatis.

Contraindications
Do not use in perforated eardrum.

Do not use in case of hypersensitivity to any of the components of the veterinary medicinal product, corticosteroids, other azole antifungal agents, and other fluoroquinolones.

Side effects
Mild erythematous lesions may be observed.

The use of ear preparations can lead, especially in older animals, to temporary hearing impairment. If you notice any side effects of your pet or animals that are not listed in this leaflet, please tell your veterinarian or pharmacist.

Dosage and route of administration
Auricular use.

One drop contains 267 mcg of orbifloxacin, 27 mcg of mometasone furoate and 27 mcg of posaconazole. Shake well before use. Dogs weighing up to 2 kg once a day, 2 drops; dogs weighing 2-15 kg – once a day, 4 drops; dogs weighing 15 kg or more – once a day, 8 drops. The duration of treatment is 7 days.
