Possesses contact insecticidal and repellent action. It belongs to the group of synthetic pyrethroids of the second type, which disrupts the work of the sodium channels of the nerve cells of ectoparasites.

Pharmacological properties
The drug has a contact insect-acaricidal and repellent effect on insects and ixodid ticks: zoophilous flies Haematobia stimulans, Lyperosia irritans, L. titilans, Stomoxys calcitrans, Musca autumnalis, M. larvipara, M. amica, etc., mosquitoes Aedes, Anopheles, Anopheles , black flies Boophthora, Simulium, Schaenbaueria, biting midges Culicoides, Forcipomya, Zentocononops, horseflies of the genera Chrysops, Haematopota, Tabanus, gadflies Hypoderma bovis, H. lineatum, fleas Ctenocephalides canis, lice Linognathus setotus and cannaceus cannibus Icidae tuschus , Dermacentor marginatus, parasitizing animals.
Cyfluthrin belongs to the group of synthetic pyrethroids of the second type, which disrupt the work of sodium channels in ectoparasite nerve cells, which leads to a delay in membrane repolarization, inhibition of nerve impulses, impaired coordination of movements, paralysis, and death of insects.
After application, a small amount of the drug is absorbed, which ensures its long-term insect-acaricidal and repellent effect.
The drug is low-toxic for warm-blooded animals and, in recommended doses, does not produce a resorptive-toxic and irritating effect.
Indications
Protection of cattle from the invasion of zoophilic flies, mosquitoes, midges, biting midges, horseflies, and gadflies during the grazing period.
Protection of dogs from blood-sucking insects, lice, fleas, lice, and ixodid ticks.
Method of administration and dosage
The drug is applied to dry, clean, intact skin using a dosing device or a pipette in this way:
- cattle – 5 ml per 1 animal weighing up to 300 kg and 10 ml per 1 animal weighing over 300 kg, rub slowly along the spine from the withers to the sacrum at an air temperature not higher than +25 ° C, after which it is avoided for 3 hours water at the site of application of the drug; dairy cows are treated after evening milking; the best protective effect is achieved when the entire livestock is treated in the spring after pasture and repeated treatments every 4-6 weeks;
- dogs – 1 ml per 10 kg of body weight is applied and lightly rubbed into the withers during the period of activity of ticks and other insects; repeated treatments are carried out no earlier than 4 weeks later.
Caveats
Personnel in contact with the drug must comply with the general rules of hygiene and safety adopted when working with veterinary drugs and use protective clothing (gown, hat, rubber boots, gloves). After finishing work, wash your hands thoroughly with warm water and soap. If the drug gets on the skin, mucous membranes, or eyes, rinse them with plenty of running water.
When used in recommended doses, there are no restrictions on the consumption of meat and milk of cattle.
Contraindications
Do not administer to calves weighing up to 100 kg, puppies up to 2 months, bitches in the first half of pregnancy.
Storage conditions
In the manufacturer’s packaging, in a dry, well-ventilated place, protected from direct sunlight, out of reach of children and animals, separately from food and feed at temperatures from +8 to +25 ° C.
After opening the bottle, keep the drug tightly closed and use it within 2 months.
