Description

Transparent colorless liquid.

Storage

1 ml of the drug contains the active substance:

propranolol hydrochloride – 5 mg;

Chloreton – 3mg.

Pharmacological properties

The drug blocks β1 and β2 adrenoceptors, exhibits a membrane-stabilizing effect; suppresses lipolysis in adipose tissue, preventing an increase in the level of free fatty acids; strengthens the secretory and motor activity of the gastrointestinal tract; increases the tone of the bronchial muscles and the contractility of the uterus, as a result of which the passage of labor and separation of the litter is accelerated; reduces bleeding during childbirth and in the postoperative period; prevents the occurrence of inflammatory processes genitals, increases fertility.

The drug enhances spontaneous and uterine contractions caused by uterotonic agents. Reduces bleeding during childbirth and in the postoperative period.

Application

For stimulation of childbirth, prevention of postpartum complications associated with disorders of the contractile ability of the uterus, increase of fertility of cows and heifers. As part of complex therapy for the treatment of metritis-mastitis-agalactia syndrome in sows.

Dosage

Administer intramuscularly to cows and heifers, once in a dose of 10 ml per head:

to stimulate normal childbirth and accelerate the separation of the fetal membranes – at the beginning of childbirth;

to accelerate the involution of the uterus – in the first 24 hours after childbirth;

in case of delayed fetal membranes – 6-8 hours after childbirth;

to increase fertility – 10-15 minutes before fertilization.

for the prevention of metritis-mastitis-agalactia syndrome in sows – intramuscularly, once immediately after childbirth in a dose of 5 ml per animal.

Contraindication

Increased sensitivity to active substances. 

Reservation

The drug cannot be used simultaneously with antipsychotics and tranquilizers.

There are no restrictions on the use of products from animals that have been injected with the drug.

Release form

10 ml and 100 ml glass vials closed with a rubber stopper under an aluminum break-in. 

Storage

In a dry, dark place inaccessible to children at a temperature from 0 °C to 18 °C.

The shelf life is 2 years from the date of manufacture.
