Prednisolone has anti-inflammatory, epidermostatic, anti-allergic, immunosuppressive and local anesthetic actions; reduces swelling and inflammation. The anti-inflammatory effect is accompanied by vasoconstriction, a decrease in pain at the injection site, a decrease in the migration of lymphocytes and macrophages to the site of inflammation.
