Profiverm oral (Ivermectin) (Sparmectin)

The active substance of the medicine is ivermectin and belongs to composites, which are produced by microorganisms of Streptomyces avermitilis group. The medicine has a pronounced activity against endo- and ectoparasites of animals and poultry. The mechanism of the medicine action on the parasite’s body is in the stimulation of the allocation of a neurotransmitter the gamma-aminobutyric acid inhibition (GABA). As a result, there is a blockade of impulse transfer between the interneurons and the motor excitatory neurons of the parietal abdominal trunk, which leads to its paralysis and death.

Application Cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, rabbits:  prevention and treatment of diseases, caused by gastrointestinal and pulmonary nematodes, subcutaneous, nasopharyngeal, gastric vessels (in the larvae phase), scabies, lice, hairworms.

For the treatment and control of the following species of gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, eyeworms, warbles, mites and sucking lice in cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, dogs caused by: cattle: gastrointestinal nematodes – Ostertagia ostertagi, O. lyrata, Trichostrongylus axei, Trichostrongylus columbriformis, Haemonchus placei (including third stage larvae), Nematodirus spp. (mature forms); pulmonary nematodes – Dictyocaulus viviparus (adults and fourth larvae stage); itch tick – Sarcoptes Bovis, Psoroptes bovis; gadfly (in larvae phase) – Hypoderma lineatum, H. Bovis; lice – Linognathus Vitali, Haematopinus eurysternus, Solenopoles capillatus; louse – Bovicola bovis; sheep and goats: gastrointestinal nematodes – Haemonchus contortus, (mature and the third and fourth larvae stage).
